BYC Helps Displaced Workers Fill Construction Jobs Throughout SC & NC Announcing 3 Job Fairs
Build Your Career and Carolinas AGC (CAGC) are helping lead efforts to employ thousands of construction workers who have been displaced by the shutdown of the V.C. Summer nuclear project site earlier this week near Jenkinsville, SC.
We are proud to match former V.C. Summer employees and others looking for employment at a time when our members are hiring new employees daily in the construction industry. Jobs now available on the Carolinas AGC Career Page include project managers, carpenters, pipe fitters, estimators, heavy equipment operators, masons, electricians, craftworker trainers, mechanics, fuel and service technicians, crane operators, concrete finishers, grading foremen, superintendents, commercial drivers, excavators, safety managers and many others. We are working with the SC Office of the Governor and the Midlands Workforce Development Board to ensure our members are participating in the Employ SC Job Fair on August 14, 16 and 22.
